Why we separate a platform from a live offering

A recurring private-market mistake is treating a familiar platform as proof that an investment is available.

Access facts describe geography and investor conditions. A live-offering fact describes a particular opportunity at a particular time.

This distinction matters because onboarding is personalized, offerings close, investor classifications vary, and some catalogs are visible only after verification. A page may therefore say that a Product is active while its live-offering status is unknown.

The practical rule is simple: browse profiles to understand the route, then confirm eligibility and current inventory on the official service. A historical deal, marketing page, or screenshot does not establish current access.
