How we handle eligibility and unknowns

Eligibility in private markets depends on more than a visitor's budget. Country, residency, accreditation or professional status, knowledge checks, provider policy, the legal exemption, and the particular offering can all matter.

Own a Little records these layers separately. When the authoritative source does not support a current conclusion, we use “not verified” or “unknown.” We do not infer that a user can invest merely because a sign-up page exists.

The assessment can explain likely routes and likely checks. The provider and offering documents make the operative determination when the user applies. This preserves a useful distinction between education and regulated onboarding.

Unknown is not a content failure. It is an accurate state that tells the next research pass what to verify.
